What’s going on in this world? Kids killing kids, a president who pardons criminals, a Prime Minister who is more concerned with image than making sure the public are safe (he knew the details of the Southport killings, but let the public put false information online and start riots), a chancellor who knows nothing about economics, police forces who don’t police. We are heading towards anarchy, and that’s not a joke.

A couple of weeks ago, on a Sunday morning at 8am, I went to our local paper shop/post office to pick up the sunday papers. It was freezing, and I’d just walked the dog on a very white, frosty beach green, so I know just how cold it was. I parked my car and watched two 15/16 year old lads climb over a pub wall onto the street. I kept watching and they went into the paper shop, spoke to a very young boy who was waiting for the papers for his paper round. He looked nervous and went outside to get his scooter and took it into the shop. I decided to go back into the shop and spoke to the guy who runs it. He didn’t know who these two were, but I was still suspicious. I asked the young boy if he knew them, he didn’t and he looked petrified. I confronted them, asked them what they wanted, they were “looking” said I could go first. Of course I said I didn’t need anything, but wondered what they were “looking” for. At that point they became abusive, called me all kinds of names. I told them to sling their hook, and that I’d got them on my dashcam climbing over the wall of the pub, so I knew they were up to no good. More abuse, but they left the shop. I telephoned the police as I watched them walk over the railway crossing, joined by another 15/16 year old who also had just climbed over the pub wall.

The police took all the details of the event and my details. I received a call from the Transport Police, worried about them being on the railway line, but I confirmed they just crossed the crossing.

I received an email the following day from Victim Support!!! I am not a victim.

Two days later I received a letter from Sussex Police, signed by Chief Superintendent Howard Hodges, informing me that due to lack of information they would not be persuing this incident, but thanking me for reporting it for their collation of crimes!!! Again giving me information for Victims Support!! After throwing it in the bin in digust, I decided to write back to Chief Superintendent Howard Hodges to inform him that he has no right to decide which crimes to investigate. I knew that they hadn’t even tried because the shop has CCTV and nobody had been there to pick up any footage. Also a police force is there to protect life and property, both of which seem alien to our current police forces. Also I reiterated that I AM NOT A VICTIM. I am a 5 foot, 67 year old woman who dared to confront two oiks and protect a young boy.

I don’t know how things are going because nobody has bothered to reply to my letter, but I do know that the police went into the shop a week later to ask for the CCTV.

These boys had no fear, no remorse, no morals about what they had done or were intending to do because they know there is not going to be any punishment. Well we don’t need a government to see what needs to be done, just ask any decent member of the public, especially a parent. If a child under the age of 18 is caught performing an illegal act, anti-social behaviour, then they are taken home and the parents are fined on the spot a minimum of £500.00. Perhaps then parents will take their responsibilities seriously and ensure they are aware of where they kids are, who they’re mixing with and what they’re doing.

I’m sick of living in a world where nobody takes responsibility for their own actions, takes the responsibility of parenting seriously and realises their actions have consequences and affects the community as a whole.

Get rid of these do-gooders and bring in some serious punishment or we may as well hand everything over the criminals because the government and police are f***** useless.
