The liar, cheat and despicable Rachel Reeves has surpassed herself with her budget. The manifesto stated no rises in taxes, they were going to work for the “working man”. Hummp! Who was she kidding? Between her and her beloved leader the Slimy Starmer, they have really managed to damage the “working man” and the entrepreneurs of this country. The only sector protected is the public sector, who don’t, in any shape or form, actually make a profit, they take from the public purse and squander because they are not answerable to anyone.
There shouldn’t be a minimum wage structure, every company should be paying a living wage, especially large corporations like the supermarkets in this country. If a company in the private sector employs 1 or 1000 staff they are going to be paying a fortune in extra NI contributions, which in turn will stop them from giving staff decent salary increases, next it will put up the costs of their products, services and then nobody could afford them. If this doesn’t work out to be cost effective, because believe it or not the owners need to make a living as well, then the company goes under and all staff lose their jobs. They in turn will expect the government to support them before they can find a new job.
So effectively, unless you work in the public sector, hold on to your hats because there’s an almight wind coming through to blow everything apart.
In fact the consortium of traders should be contemplating taking the government to court for discrimination. All private sector businesses are expected to pay an increase in employees NI, but not the public sector. Total discrimination.
I’ve lost my winter fuel allowance, if they touch my pension I’m fucked. I’d like to say thank you to all those knobs who voted labour.
