WHEN THE LAWYERS DON’T UPHOLD THE LAW

So Mohammed Al-Fayed was reported the the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) by the Metropolitan Police in 2005 and 2015, both times the CPS failed to bring charges against the rapist.

So why would we have the CPS in the first place? When my father was a police officer in the Met, the police bought charges against criminals. This all changed with the development of CPS, who then decided who should be prosecuted and ignoring the cases they thought they couldn’t win.

So many a victim has been let down, destroyed and betrayed by a system that isn’t fit for purpose. Jimmy Saville was never prosecuted by the CPS either, and Kier Starmer was the Director of that shameful institution at that time, although he would deny ever seeing the paperwork for the complaints against Jimmy Saville. Easy to deny culpability now isn’t it? Mind you he spent thousands of your taxes on travel, hotels, meals etc when he was in that position. Nothing changes does it?

We have a legal system in this country that favours the criminal and not the innocent victims. Our government isn’t fit for purpose, our police forces are not fit for purpose, we don’t have enough prisons and the prisons available are understaffed. When will our ministers realise that the public are beginning to demand fair and swift deterrents and penalties to those who commit crimes. Not just the crimes that make the news, like the riots, but crimes that are hidden by the CPS. The government, police and the legal system has a duty of care to victims.

I know I lambasted the “me too” brigade, and I honestly think that the women coming forward now are too late. They should have done it years ago, and for those that did come for ward and were ignored by the CPS, then sue the bastards. Those who kept quiet, crawl back into your holes and don’t bleat about something that happened years ago and you didn’t have the balls to protect other women.

If you’ve been a victim of crime, don’t expect the police to deal with it fairly. We all know they’re understaffed, but they are also very “WOKE”. In their eyes, perpetrators are also victims!!!! They are not – they chose to commit a crime, they deserve to pay the price. So as a victim (not a nice word, especially if like me, you DO NOT regard yourself a victim regardless of what happened), shout it out loud, don’t be ashamed of what happened to you, you are the innocent party. Shout it loud to the police, the CPS, the press if necessary. Don’t let criminals get away with anything.
