Poor King Charles, you have to feel for him when he’s having to read out a tome that consists of about 80% of bollocks. Bet he was feeling that he was doomed as a monarch if he has to deal with the likes of Kier Starmer for the next few years (hopefully not Your Majesty).

If their main concern is getting this country up and running, then giving the like of unions autonomy is not wise. We have an endemic lack of enthusiasm in this country to actually put in the hours and work for a living. A vast swathe of the working public think they have the right to get paid a fortune for doing very little. You only have to look at the civil service, local authorities and virtually every tax funded establishment to see that.

As for encouraging people to work from home, are they mad?? If you’re talking about output, regardless of what sector, being at home defeats the object. Workers need to work together, in the same environment, to achieve what’s best for the company and them.

So, not going well so far eh Kier? Bosses will be having hissy fits to think they are going to have to accommodate this dim witted attitude to work. Kier Starmer get off your pedestal and think very deeply about how you’re ruining this country, just because you think you’re being considerate to workers. You boast about how your parents were hardworking and how you achieved regardless of your background. Why then would you be soft on this country’s working public, especially when, to build the economy, you have to push them? So you’re going to be our second Tony Blair? He well and truely fucked up didn’t he?

Oh well, I’m retired and so the working changes won’t affect me, but what will affect me is when unions start getting their members to strike over the least little thing. Think seriously about this – most of the union leaders are on six-figure salaries, and their salary isn’t affected when they get their members to strike, and live on strike pay. Oh its just like George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” – all equal, except some are more equal than others!
